Intro to Paper-cutting Workshop
In this three hour beginners workshop, students will learn the basics of the beautiful art of paper-cutting. Students will create a simple card or picture of a bird or animal while learning the basics of paper-cutting. Jonathan will provide a template for you to work from. The color and background choices are yours. While templates take away a modicum of freedom, they will help you to more easily master the necessary techniques of cutting, transferring, layering and gluing. This introduction will make you aware of the possibilities of this wonderful art form.

Supply List:
- Small pointed scissors
- X-acto knife with #11 blades
- Self-healing cutting pad
- Pencil (2b is fine)
- Eraser (pink pearl or white eraser)
Instructor will provide:
- All papers: colored, white, and black papers
- Tracing paper
- Glue

Refund Policy
The Art Center does not provide cash refunds for classes or workshops unless the class or workshop is cancelled by The Art Center. To request a withdrawal from a purchased class or workshop, students must contact The Art Center a minimum of 7 days before the first day of class. Students who request a withdrawal will receive a class credit for the tuition paid for the class. Students who withdraw fewer than 7 days before the first day of class will receive a class credit of 90% of the tuition paid for the class. No refunds or credits will be issued once a session has started.
Please note: The Art Center is unable to provide class credit, make-up opportunities, or refunds, or prorate classes for students who miss class due to illness or personal scheduling conflicts. Class & workshop registrations are non-transferable.
