Build A Better Butter Dish Workshop

Build A Better Butter Dish Workshop

SKU: 6020

During this two-hour long workshop, Pottery Artist Cait Deane will demonstrate how to make a functional handbuilt butter dish step-by step and teach participants how to build their own vessel using the slab building technique.

This class is for creative adult beginners. Participants will be given hands-on instruction to build both pieces of a butter dish and will be shown a variety of ideas to add ornamental flare to it. We will go over constructing and refining the vessel and discuss the firing process.

Instructor Cait Deane will dry, fire, and glaze the pieces after they have been bisque-fired and call participants when they are ready to be picked up from The Art Center.

All supplies are included.
